Als Teil unseres Mobile Engineering Teams bist du verantwortlich für die Konzeption und Umsetzung neuer Features in unseren vielgenutzten iOS-Apps (wie BR24, ARD Audiothek, ARD Mediathek), um unseren Nutzer:innen die bestmögliche User Experience zu bieten. Du entwickelst die technische Architektur weiter, experimentierst mit neuen Apple-Frameworks und Technologien und sorgst dafür, dass unsere Apps zuverlässig und flüssig laufen. Folgende Aufgaben erwarten dich bei uns

Softwareentwicklung auf den Plattformen iOS, iPadOS, tvOS & watchOS: Konzeption, Prototyping, Umsetzung, Code Review, Testing, Deployment und Bug Fixing, Umsetzung von Produktanforderungen und Designs mit Swift, SwiftUI und UIKit
Koordination mit dem Projektteam, um Größenordnung, Aufwand und technische Abhängigkeiten bei der Entwicklung neuer Features zu bestimmen
Modularisierung von Code in bestehenden Projekten zum Wiederverwenden in anderen Produkten
Experimentieren mit neuen Technologien und Einschätzen, wie diese in bestehende Produkte passen könnten
Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produktmanagement, UX Design, UserLab, QA und einem talentierten Entwickler:innen-Team in einer modernen Arbeitsumgebung
Bringe dein bestehendes Wissen und Best Practices mit, um die Kenntnisse des Teams zu erweitern

Das bringst du mit

Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss in einem Studium mit IT-Bezug (z. B. Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Medieninformatik, Ingenieurswissenschaften) oder nachgewiesene technische Fähigkeiten
Mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung in der nativen iOS-Entwicklung mit Swift
Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit & Motivation, Verantwortung zu übernehmen
Leidenschaft für exzellente User Experience
Tiefes Verständnis von gängigen Design Patterns und Architekturen, um testbare, modularisierte Komponenten zu entwickeln
Erfahrung mit Build Tools und Continuous Integration-Diensten
Ein agiles Mindset und Erfahrung mit agilen Methoden und Teams (SCRUM)
Fließende Deutsch- oder Englisch-Kenntnisse.
- (Im Büro sprechen wir hauptsächlich Deutsch. Wir haben aber auch Kolleg:innen, die nur Englisch sprechen und passen uns flexibel an.)

As part of our Mobile Engineering team, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing new features in our widely used iOS apps (such as BR24, ARD Audiothek, ARD Mediathek) to provide our users with the best possible experience. You will help evolve our technical architecture, experiment with new Apple frameworks and technologies, and ensure that our apps run reliably and smoothly.

Folgende Aufgaben erwarten dich bei uns

Software development on iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS: conceptual design, prototyping, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, and bug fixing; implementing product requirements and designs using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
Coordination with the project team to determine scope, effort, and technical dependencies when developing new features
Modularizing code in existing projects for reuse across other products
Experimenting with new technologies and assessing how they could fit into existing products
Collaborating with Product Management, UX Design, UserLab, QA, and a talented team of developers in a modern work environment
Bringing your existing knowledge and best practices to help broaden the team’s expertise

Das bringst du mit

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to computer science (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Engineering) or proven technical skills
Several years of professional experience in native iOS development with Swift
Strong team spirit and the motivation to take on responsibility
A passion for excellent user experience
Deep understanding of common design patterns and architectures to build testable, modularized components
Experience with build tools and continuous integration services
An agile mindset and experience working with agile methods and teams (SCRUM)
Fluency in German or English
